Meet Cameron — Your Postnatal Doula
The honest conversations. The practical help. The calm presence every family deserves.

Less performance. More presence.
Small caseload, deep care — so every visit is calm and personal.
My Story
Motherhood doesn't need more pressure. It needs more support.
I grew up in California and now call South East London home. My path into postnatal care began long before I became a doula — through decades of conversations, friendships and experiences shared between women.
Since 2001, I have worked within women's beauty and sexual health, creating a space where people feel comfortable talking about the things that matter most: their bodies, confidence, relationships, intimacy, pregnancy and motherhood.
I have always been the red-lip, gold-hoop-wearing friend — the one people come to for the honest conversations about periods, sex, birth and everything that comes after. The conversations that are sometimes funny, sometimes vulnerable, and always real.
I am also a mum to four boys, including identical twins who were a very unexpected surprise. Motherhood has been my greatest teacher, showing me that every family has their own story, their own challenges and their own way of finding their rhythm. I've lived in the United States and France, and along the way learned that although cultures and experiences differ, the need for kindness, reassurance and genuine connection is universal.
I volunteer with Home-Start UK, sitting with families in their own homes through the hardest early months. That is where I learned what parents actually need, and it is the work I am proudest of. In 2024 I trained as a doula with Nurturing Birth in London.
My own path has included miscarriage, followed by the experience of birth afterwards. I understand that becoming a mother is not always a straight path, and that it can hold many emotions at once — excitement and uncertainty, joy and grief, confidence and complete confusion.
Today, I care for families across South East London — from London Bridge through to Dartford — with thoughtful postnatal visits, birth preparation, overnight newborn care and practical help through those early weeks.
Laughter and quiet, both. I believe laughter is one of life's greatest medicines, and there is room for humour and lightness even in overwhelming moments. But I also know there are times when words disappear, when everything feels unfamiliar, and a calm, steady presence is what's needed most.
My Role
My role is not to tell you how to experience birth or motherhood. It's to walk alongside you with calm, practical help, honest conversation and genuine care — helping you feel seen, heard and steadied in the moments that matter most.
Because motherhood is extraordinary. And sometimes extraordinary things require tenderness and comfort, not just endurance.
What I Believe
The values behind every visit
Calm
Everything feels slower, softer and intentional. There is no rush in the room.
Confidence
Quiet competence. You don't have to explain, manage or worry about me.
Practicality
I don't just talk. I make the tea, fold the washing, collect the toddler and remind you to eat.
Presence
Not performing. Just being there — steadily, and for as long as you need.
The Long Way Round
From California to your doorstep
Growing up in California, in a house where the door was always open and the conversation was always honest.
Working within women's beauty and sexual health — more than two decades listening to women talk openly about their bodies, confidence, relationships and the questions they feel they can't ask anywhere else.
Living and raising a family abroad, and learning that while cultures differ, the need for kindness and reassurance is universal.
Studied to become a doula at Nurturing Birth in London.
Home in South East London, caring for families from London Bridge through to Dartford.
Education and Volunteer Work
Home-Start UK
I volunteer with Home-Start UK, the charity that pairs trained volunteers with families going through the hardest early months — isolation, illness, bereavement, postnatal depression, or simply having more on their plate than anyone could carry alone.
Week after week, in people's own homes, it taught me what parents genuinely need rather than what a brochure says they need. It is still the work I am proudest of, and it shapes every visit I make.

Trained at Nurturing Birth, 2024
In 2024 I trained as a doula with Nurturing Birth in London — accredited training rooted in evidence, kindness and practical skill rather than dogma.
